Calling It In

Calling It In

Why isn’t there a Call It In feature in WordPress? It should be right next to the Write feature, and it should have pre-written stuff—lorem ipsum blah blah blah. I’m working on stuff that’s due or that will soon be due, so either I regret having made a resolution to blog more regularly, or I regret failing to keep that resolution. There appears to be no way to escape regret, so here I am. I worked on four things today….

Proof That I Grew Up in the ’80s

Proof That I Grew Up in the ’80s

I acquired a new skill this year. I learned how to solve Rubik’s Cube. Old School Versus All That New Fangled Stuff

Old School Versus All That New Fangled Stuff

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I’m talking about breaking the rules, the norm, the convention of pretty much anything. Case in point: MSNBC. They started doing this new-fangled thing, I guess to “up” their coolness factor, and it involved…

More Items in My Bedroom

More Items in My Bedroom

I can’t let this day pass by without updating my blog, and I haven’t had a chance to write anything, so here’s another sampling of my daily doodles. This first item is a bag of potpourri which I bought in Rhode Island the day after Minnie’s wedding. Somehow the communication lines got crossed between me, Minnie, and Nikki, so I ended up spending the time I had before my flight all by myself. I walked to the local shop, took…
