I don’t have many photos of my cat. She’s black, and she never stays still for the camera, so she’s hard to shoot. If I shoot her with the flash, she looks awful. Craig Ferguson and Alcoholism
Craig Ferguson did a classy thing last night. For his opening monologue on The Late Late Show, he talked seriously about making fun of the vulnerable, particularly celebrities going through tough times, reaching the nadirs of their lives in the public eye. He apologized for his part and openly shared his own experiences, specifically with alcoholism—his rock bottom, his epiphany, his struggle to maintain his rehabilitation for 15 years. Happy Chinese New Year! Yesterday, H.E. and I went to see Breach, and as always, before and after the movie, we’d look at the movie posters on the walls of the movie theater house. While I look at them for inspiration in doing my book covers, he always looks at them for the credits, reading the names of actors, directors, screenwriters, and producers.
