Mr. Gad

This is Mr. Gad.

I completely forgot to post this—an illustration of a character named Mr. Gad. It’s for the fourth issue of Tales of the Talisman, specifically for a story called “Now With New and Improved Evil Detector!” by Joseph D. Martin.

Here’s a description of Mr. Gad:

Mr. Gad was at least six feet five inches tall and razor thin, yet his olive green suit was too long for him, the sleeves coming well past his wrists and the cuffs bunched up at the shoes. He was bald on top with wisps of gray hair falling over his ears. He had a hawk’s nose and deep set, black eyes that peered down at Charles and made him feel like a mouse caught in a barren field … He had a slight accent which Charles couldn’t place, possibly Middle Eastern, and carried a briefcase in one hand and an oversized gym bag in the other.

My digital crapera did a pretty good job taking a fauxto, I think.

  1. He reminds me of a cross between Kobayashi from the movie ‘The Usual Suspects’ and Jim Carry’s Count Olaf from ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’
