Illustration Friday: Lost

Lost!

3 days late and $300 short. I didn’t actually start this until long after Friday, but what the heck. I’m trying to fit in more personal art, and Illustration Friday seems to be the way to do it. So here you go. First to guess the story illustrated gets brownie points. :)

What a wonderful bunch of yummy colors in this! Love everything about it! I especially like the scary ravens/blackbirds eating Hansel and Gretel’s bread crumbs. Nicely done!

I really like how you’ve illustrated this story in a more contemporary manner. i also like the treatment of the forest in the layers of dark blue and lavendar trees. There is defintely the feeling of being engufled by the forest, and the birds eating the crumbs look a bit threatening! Well done:>

Yummy artwork! It is so delicious I want to take a bite of it! I’m detecting a little bit o’ the aliens in the characters, and that makes me smile from ear to shining ear!
