I wondered why my e-mail was a little thin lately. It appears my e-mail server is down. My host sent me several announcements already—one at 4:00 this morning, at 8:00, another at around noon, and still another at 2:00 this afternoon—each one of them saying that the e-mail is back up again and that my data has been restored (ack!), though I still have trouble accessing the new mail. I can’t tell yet if it’s the e-mail server at my web host or the one at my ISP.

I just got some e-mail dated January 31st, though—some bot mail from one of my epubs’ forums—and it’s a post I saw a week ago. So I’m guessing that some of the e-mail sent to me today or yesterday is either lost or long in getting here. Whatever mail I am able to get comes in entirely out of order.

So if you’re trying to reach me with something urgent and you haven’t heard from me yet, please post here or, better yet, at the proper forums (if you’re an author, publisher, or one of my staff). If my net connection holds up, I should be able to check the posts here and at the forums, maybe sometime tonight. If you haven’t heard from me in a week or so, please try again.
