I love everyone’s suggestions so far, and I’m actually going to try all of them at one point or another. For now, though, I’ve been basking in that wonderful feeling I can only describe as Yay!

I recently entered this image in a contest with the theme Heat, and I actually placed second after judging—woohoo!

I’m feeling warm all over.

    I don’t even like the first place entry. Yours is so dynamic and hot!

    I read your entry too quickly and thought that you had created the pic with water colours. I’m thinking WOW, now that’s pretty neat creating fire from water.

    I think the first prize was well deserved, though; Craig actually painted in Painter, whereas I mostly used Photoshop filters, masks, and a scan of one of my old pen and ink drawings.

    Still… it would have been nice to win Painter 8! 😉
