I love spring best. I’m no big fan of summer. This time of the year the days get hot, ninety degrees and up and dry, and my sinuses go crazy. The unit where I live, especially in the room where my computer sits, is unbearable in a heat wave. Even with the windows open and the fans on, it’s hell. Monday, it was hell. First time this year, and I’m not looking forward to more as spring turns into summer….
I was late with last night’s post, and I’m crazy to be up checking e-mail and writing this post right now, but I’m having one of those migraine couple of days—had it all day yesterday, and still have it now. I meant to post something cutesy today, according to schedule, but I feel like vomiting—the pain is so bad. So I’ll save it for another post and for now bid you all a See You Later. Share this post:

…but Happy Earth Day! I hope everyone worked on making their ecological footprint a lot smaller today. In my effort to save the world, I recycled my food and had leftover soup for lunch. From the experience, I was able to collect some tips and tricks to share with you all. First lesson of the day: when making bisque, puree the stuff first, then heat it up, instead of the other way around—and when you puree, don’t overfill the container…
