I plan on moving closer to work within the next two months. This morning the human encyclopedia and I were discussing the logistics of such a move, and he brought up the topic of my computers.<\/p>\n

“It’s going to be a little tricky getting you set up,” he said.<\/p>\n

“What are you talking about? I know how to set my computers up just fine. That’s easy.”<\/p>\n

“I’m talking about the internet service providers. They have different cable companies up there. You might even have to get DSL instead.”<\/p>\n

“Oh.”<\/p>\n

I hadn’t thought of that. I currently cruise the net on a cable modem provided by Cox Communications<\/a>, and I just love<\/i> their service. They’re fast and dependable, and they’ve got great tech support. I didn’t like the idea of having to use another company. I looked up at the human encyclopedia with a little moue on my face.<\/p>\n

“But I like<\/i> Cox,” I said with a plaintive tone.<\/p>\n

“Yes, I know,” he told me, one side of his mouth curling up just slightly. “So all the men have told me.”<\/p>\n
