I was going to post about a show I recorded last night, but it’s still sitting on my DVR, unwatched. Plus, the Smart Bitches<\/a> have just posted the winner<\/a> of their wickedly dirty onomatopoeia contest<\/a>, so I figured now was a good time to post about the way my mind works, instead.<\/p>\n

In a nutshell? My mind is dirty.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, I was reading Bonnie Dee’s excerpt<\/a> on the LSB forums<\/a> when I came upon the phrase, “His **** stiffened…”<\/p>\n

My mind immediately filled in the blank and then out of the blue came up with the following two lines:<\/p>\n

His cock rose at the crack of Dawn and emitted a ghastly thing. Cock-a-doodle-do!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It made me think of the Smart Bitches contest, but I knew it was already too late for entries. Never you mind—I ran with it anyway. I took up my sketchbook and casually developed the nascent idea into an actual cartoon concept through some doodles. I say “casually” because I didn’t even give it its own page—I drew and wrote all over a rejected rough draft of Life Lesson #10<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here’s the result of all that doodling:

Of course, now that I’ve fully developed the idea, I probably won’t do anything with it outside of posting the rough sketch here. But I really wanted everyone to know what a demented individual I am, in case I ever need to build up evidence for an insanity plea sometime in the far, far future.<\/p>\n
