Seriously.<\/a> I really don’t have the time or the inclination to write the third tutorial any time soon, and I really don’t feel like fielding any more notes about it or responding to slightly flawed reasoning about why I should<\/em> write the tutorial. It’s bad enough that H.E. has been on me for years now to redesign my work site, and if I write that stupid tutorial before I do that, then I’m clearly a foolish girl who doesn’t deserve the birthstone he got me.<\/p>\n

If people are angry with me because they’ve been revisiting my site all these months for the sole purpose of learning how to make stereograms, then today is their lucky day. I’ve got a tip that’s almost as good as step three. I’ve got a link to a tutorial on the same topic, and I did it by using this great and magic tool called Google<\/a>. Fascinating invention, really, this thing they call a search engine. I wonder if anyone has heard of it?<\/p>\n

And yes, I am sharing the link, as I’ve always shared such things. In fact, here is the link now<\/a>. There are more like it if you search for how to make stereograms on that Google thing.<\/p>\n

Now, I will freely admit that what is explained in that link is not the same technique nor the same software that I use, but Gimp<\/a> is<\/em> a lot like Photoshop, except that it is distributed for free. Better yet, the feature that allows you to create stereograms is actually built into Gimp, whereas there is no such thing in Photoshop, even with all the fancy new versions they’ve developed. At least … not that I know of.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I hope that tides people over until I redesign my work site, then<\/em> unearth my old stereogram related files from my old computer. Like I said, step three isn’t coming any time soon.<\/p>\n

Again, my apologies, though I don’t feel I really owe anyone that.<\/p>\n
