So I’m back. I opened up my inbox this morning, the first time since before I left, and discovered I overestimated the volume I’d have. I received only about 1200 e-mails, not 1500. Whew. Because that extra 300 can really break a camel’s back, you know. A quarter of that was spam. Over a half were group, forum, and blog notifications. An eighth were from friends and family with news, jokes, and unwanted chain letters. The final eighth was work-related. I only just finished going through all of them. I haven’t yet responded to any of them.<\/p>\n

The weekend, however, was wonderful. I got to meet Nikki<\/a> and her family. We were in beautiful Rhode Island to attend Minnie<\/a> and Alex<\/a>‘s wedding. I didn’t take nearly as many photos as I wanted to or normally would have, mostly because I wanted more to simply be<\/em> there and because nearly everyone there is a photographer. So taking my own photos was kind of overkill.<\/p>\n
