H.E. and I shopped at Target<\/a> today for some household items. As we went down the aisle of trash cans and laundry baskets, we pointed out the various styles…<\/p>\n

April:<\/strong> Oh, look! I love how they make them curve now, to accomodate the shape of a person’s hip. [Demonstrates by holding a basket at her side, edge on her hip.<\/em>]<\/p>\n

H.E.:<\/strong> Do you need a laundry basket?<\/p>\n

April:<\/strong> Nah. I have at least two of them at home. [Notices another style of laundry basket—one made of wicker and lined inside with a light flowery patterned cloth.]<\/p>\n

H.E.:<\/strong> [Notices the same basket.] How about a basket to put baby Moses in and push into the river among the reeds?<\/p>\n

April:<\/strong> [Laughs.] No thanks.<\/p>\n

After making our purchases and leaving Target, H.E. drove us out of the parking lot, and as we waited for the light to change, I stared at the Burger King across the street and made nonsensical sounds…<\/p>\n

April:<\/strong> [Voice grates.] REG-RUB! REG-RUB!<\/p>\n

H.E.:<\/strong> Reg rub? What’s reg rub?<\/p>\n

April:<\/strong> It’s what’s in the mirror, written backwards, in red ketchup. What else?<\/p>\n

H.E.:<\/strong> [Laughs and shakes his head.] That’s cute.<\/p>\n
