I hadn’t had a good night’s sleep for a full week, so last night I treated myself to at least 10 good hours of it, all of it much needed, and for the first time in months I dreamed vivid dreams of nonsense, such a glorious gift of wonder and magic. I really have missed that.<\/p>\n

What did I dream? I dreamed that I journeyed in a dumbwaiter, and the dumbwaiter was a time machine. I went back in time and met the man who invented baseball. Human Encyclopedia tells me that his name was Abner Doubleday<\/a>, which makes me think of Albus Dumbledore<\/a>. Talk about magic, huh? Anyway, the man who invented baseball asked me to help him design a baseball bat, so I drew the shape of a baseball bat on a piece of paper and handed it to him.<\/p>\n

Yes, my friends. I invented the baseball bat, and now it’s time for me to go hit some lemons.<\/p>\nShare this post:
