To those celebrating this holiday, I wish you the best.

Every year on this day I give thanks, even when my car breaks down 75 miles from home. The truth is, it’s ridiculously easy; I have so much to be thankful for, and this year has only gotten better. For one thing, I have a car that works now.

I love where I live. I love my job. I love those who live with me, and they both absolutely adore me. Simply put, I love my life, and I’m thankful for it all.

I planned on writing more, making a list of everything, but I’d be here all day. No list could do my feeling justice, and I much prefer basking in gratitude to typing.

So I just want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday, and to my mom a happy birthday. Jamie Lee Curtis shares her birthday. John F. Kennedy died on this day. This is also the feast day of Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians.

So, yes, this is a big day.
