Prince Valium (continued)

Forget the Princess! If you don't get away now, while you have no witnesses, you might as well be Fugitive Valium, rather than Prince Valium.

Frantically, you look for a place in the room to hide the body. The only likely place is behind what looks like a spinning wheel, so you drag the body there, leaving a gruesome trail of blood on the floor. You also hide the sword there, not wanting to hold on to it and have it incriminate you.

Then you clean up as best you can the blood that managed to get on you when you killed the prince. You use the bed sheets on Princess Beauty's bed, of course. And silently, you steal away down the stairs, peering out of the door to make sure that the young boy isn't watching before you dart away through the castle door and the briars.

Once free of the briar tunnel that you earlier made, you run as fast as you can toward home, your castle, and lock yourself away in your chambers, bathing to wash the blood away and scrubbing to get the stains out of your clothing.

Hours later you realize that even though you had no witnesses, the evidence would still point to you. One person knew you had gone to the castle with a sword--the old man.

Even if you did a better job of hiding the evidence, it will be only a matter of time before they find you out.

Guess that means you don't live happily ever after.
